Two Days Into Tanzania… And Already So Much Love Has Been Shared
Only two days into the She Dares To Wander + LOTUS Humanitarian collaboration trip to Tanzania, and the impact these women have already made is impossible to put fully into words.

Suitcases that once held clothes and travel essentials arrived overflowing with donations instead… blankets, toys, mobility equipment, sensory items, clothing, supplies, and gifts chosen with intention and love. Every bag represented someone back home who cared enough to give. Every item carried across the world became a reminder to these children that they are seen.
This week, the group visited the Safe Home for Children With Disabilities and the Tambua Utu Foundation — two organizations doing extraordinary work to restore dignity, mobility, inclusion, and hope for children and families in Tanzania.
There were moments of pure joy:
A little boy receiving a wheelchair that gave him newfound freedom. Children clutching stuffed animals to their chests with huge smiles.
Tiny hands waving through gates.
Mothers sharing stories of resilience and hope.
Women from across the world kneeling down to connect eye-to-eye with children they had never met, yet instantly loved.
What makes this journey so powerful is that it is not about “saving” anyone. It is about human connection. It is about recognizing our shared humanity and showing up with open hearts.
These women did not just bring donations.
They brought presence.
They brought compassion.
They brought dignity.
And they reminded every child they encountered that they matter deeply.

We are incredibly honored for LOTUS Humanitarian to partner alongside She Dares To Wander and support projects like these that create immediate and meaningful impact within local communities already doing incredible work on the ground.
And this is only the beginning.

Stay tuned for more Tanzania 2026 updates as this beautiful journey continues. 💜
